It's a Grey Area Greyhound Adoption was founded in January of 2010 by Lesley Tierney Ezkovich and Brittaney Spruill. Through our combined years of experience and a dedicated group of people to support us, we formed It's a Grey Area Greyhound Adoption Group. We are dedicated to the proper placement of the retired racing greyhound along with the formation of a fun, committed greyhound group. We are a 501c3 organization.
Our commitment to greyhounds continues beyond the day we hand the leash to the new family. We are here for whatever an adoptive family could need. In good times and bad. We are there for the greyhounds we place, as well as those we have never met before. To learn more about our commitment to the hounds, please read Buckley's Wish.
Also, if you'd like to know more about what is going on with us on day-to-day basis, follow our blog, As the Rabbit Runs or check us out on facebook.
On February 5, 2013, Lesley was presented with the 2012 Greyhound Adoption Person of the Year by the American Greyhound Council. The award announcement can be found HERE.
